Play Therapy

Play therapy helps children express feelings, build coping skills, and work through challenges in a way that matches how they naturally communicate — through play. What Is Play Therapy?

Play therapy is a developmentally appropriate form of counseling for children, typically ages 3–12. Rather than relying solely on verbal conversation, therapists use play, art, and creative activities to help children process experiences, practice new skills, and express feelings they may not yet have words for. Parents and caregivers are often involved in the process through check-ins and guidance for supporting progress at home.
