About Brielle
Brielle Braun is a Licensed Master Social Worker who specializes in supporting children, adolescents, and families. She has 14 years of experience in the mental health field working with children and teens across a wide range of settings.
Brielle provides outpatient psychotherapy to children and adolescents ages 5 to 17. She has clinical experience supporting clients with depression, anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, autism, and other emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges.
In addition to her work with children and teens, Brielle also provides parent guidance for families navigating mental and behavioral health concerns. She understands that supporting a child often means supporting the family system as well, and she works collaboratively with caregivers to help strengthen communication, understanding, and practical support at home.
Brielle is committed to creating a safe, compassionate, and supportive therapeutic environment where children, adolescents, and families can openly express themselves. Her goal is to help clients feel heard, build coping skills, strengthen emotional awareness, and move toward healthier patterns of functioning.
Brielle earned her Master of Social Work degree from Fordham University and is licensed as a social worker.
Brielle's Therapeutic Approach
Brielle’s therapeutic approach is compassionate, supportive, and centered on creating a safe space for children and adolescents to express themselves. She understands that young clients may communicate their needs in many different ways, and she works to meet each child or teen where they are developmentally, emotionally, and personally.
Brielle helps clients better understand their emotions, develop coping strategies, and build skills for managing anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, behavioral challenges, and everyday stressors. She works with warmth and patience to help children and adolescents feel comfortable, understood, and supported.
Her approach also includes collaboration with parents and caregivers when appropriate. Through parent guidance, Brielle helps families better understand their child’s needs, respond to challenges more effectively, and support progress outside of the therapy room.
Clients and families working with Brielle can expect a caring, respectful, and supportive environment focused on helping children and adolescents build confidence, emotional resilience, and healthier coping skills.
