Therapy for Children

We work with children who need help navigating emotions, behavior, school stress, and family changes. Play therapy and other child-centered approaches help kids express feelings, build coping skills, and work through challenges in a way that feels natural and safe.

When to Seek Help

Therapy may help when a child's emotional or behavioral patterns are affecting home life, school, friendships, or self-confidence. Common reasons families reach out include:

  • Anxiety, worry, or frequent fears
  • Sadness, withdrawal, or changes in mood
  • Behavioral outbursts, defiance, or difficulty following directions
  • Difficulty adjusting to divorce, relocation, or family changes
  • School stress, bullying, or social difficulties
  • Trauma, loss, or other difficult experiences
  • Parent uncertainty about how best to support a struggling child
