Shrouk Samhan is a licensed social worker who has four years of experience working with children and families in the foster care system. She has found success working with individuals of all ages and identities, particularly children and adolescents experiencing a wide range of mental health difficulties and problems, including trauma symptoms, parenting issues and concerns, depression, anxiety symptoms, anger issues, low self-esteem, and relationship problems. Shrouk is a warm and genuine therapist. She has developed an authentic and integrative approach to foster trust with her clients. Her approach also focuses on positivity, empathy, and unconditional support, while posing challenges to her clients when appropriate. Shrouk received her Bachelor's degree from Sacred Heart University and her Master's degree in Social Work from UConn School of Social Work. Upon graduating in 2020, she started her career working in the child welfare system. The ultimate goals for her clients is to forge a healing connection that can be transferred outside of the therapy room into daily relationships.
