Emma Dupont, LPCA, is a psychotherapist working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions and perinatal mental health issues. She works to create a safe space for clients to explore relational issues, identify barriers to growth, uncover strengths and feel empowered and capable of change. Emma believes that everyone is unique and therefore uses an integrative and eclectic approach that incorporates a variety of modalities to cater treatment to each individual. Emma aims to pay attention to intersections of identity and cultural context to get a holistic understanding of client experiences. She recognizes that therapy is a vulnerable experience and aims to create a warm space where compassion, healing, support and humor can exist. Her clinical experience includes working with LGBTQ individuals and young adults. Prior to receiving her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University, Emma held various relationship management oriented jobs where building trust and listening to clients were essential skills. Her decision to pursue a career in therapy grew out of a desire to spend her time focusing on helping individuals pursue wellness and living a more meaningful life.
