Jennifer Weiss, LAc is a licensed acupuncturist, teacher of Chinese Medicine and speaker on acupuncture and holistic health. Practicing since 1993, she combines Traditional Chinese Medicine, Japanese acupuncture, earlier forms of Chinese acupuncture and modern applications to provide a unique palette from which to design individualized treatment plans. She places special emphasis on acupuncture and the emotions to help reorganize patterns of disturbance.
Jennifer has held clinical positions at Gramercy Park Sports Medicine and supervisory positions at the Fortune Society and the Wellness Center at Riverside Church in NY. As faculty at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and the Swedish Institute, she taught classes in medical theory, Japanese acupuncture, clinical techniques and treatment development along with clinical supervision of interns. She was instrumental in forming post-9/11 therapeutic healing endeavors. Presently, she is an associate professor at the University of Bridgeport in Health Sciences and is in private practice in CT.
